Reviews and Ratings
The Charles Cotton Hotel in Hartington offers a mixed experience with a cozy, dated room but pleasant service and a fantastic location for exploring the area. The dining arrangements and facilities have room for improvement.
Staying at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms in the Annex were lovely and comfortable, but the walls were very thin. The service was friendly and accommodating, especially Sue at the front desk. The location in the center of Hartington village was nice and quiet, perfect for relaxing, but the dining experience had its ups and downs. Overall, a decent stay with some room for improvement.
The hotel room we stayed in was light, airy, and spacious, perfect for a relaxed evening. The dining area was lovely, although the shower lacked power – my husband’s attempt to wash his bald head was quite a funny moment!
